I am really just a woman who loves to read, write and talk about what I'm reading. A lawyer by day, I read, blog and write at night.
I'm married to the love of my life and we have two wonderful little boys! I don't have any pets and hope that my kids never ask for one!
I'm the 2nd of three girls and I am very close to my family.
I love to sleep, but get very little of it these days. So, I've learned to live on coffee and gum.
I talk WAY too much and laugh WAY too loud!
I love to travel and discover places that are off the beaten path.
I'm originally from Ghana (a small country in West Africa) and have lived all over the world and all over the country! I now call Texas home.
The symbol in my logo
is an Adinkra symbol from Ghana. There are hundreds of them that all have a meaning that conveys some sort of concept, belief or aspiration. The one I chose is called Nyame Dua which translates literally to "Sacred Spot". (You can read more about Adinkras here)
That's what this blog is for me. I can be myself and focus on what I love.
Sometimes I'll post pics of a great meal, or a beautiful view, but mostly it's going be books, books, books!
