What I am Reading this week 11/24/2015

Hello Lovers! I hope you are all having a great week.   For those of you reading from the US, this week is Thanksgiving and I know that you're off from work and getting ready to loosen your belts and eat some of your family favorites.  I'm off work this week (HALLELUAH!) and have used this week to read, write and sleep. I've also gotten some much needed time with my kids and husband and for THAT I most grateful.
I know there are some books from my previous post that I haven't reviewed yet.

I am still working on Colleen Hoover's November 9th and Loretta Chase's Ms. Wonderful, I hope to get those reviews done by early next week.

In terms of what I'm reading  RIGHT now (I know that's what you are here for) it's been a very diverse and busy week and half.

So, this is what's been on my kindle play list week:

I've started a book by an author I've never read before and in a subgenre that I've only read a little of. The book is called The Raven's Tears and it is book 1 in a series called the Raven and the Iris by Alesia and Michael Matson.  It's a fantasy romance! This is how the publisher sums it up:
"It's a romance. It's a police procedural tale. Most of all, it's a story of true love, and of the sacrifices love demands"
I can't wait to get into it and let you know what I think. Watch out for my review this week!

The other book I can't wait to get to is by another author I've never read before- but that is because this is her debut novel. It's Sweet Bliss by Helena Rac.  It's about a baker name Tess who has sworn off long distance relationships and is focused on making her bakery a success.  She meets a guy who is she in interested in but he lives in London (did I mention she lives in Chicago?) and is NOT going down that road again. He sets out to win her heart and it sounds like it will be a delicious (pun intended) read!

I'm also reading a collection of short stores by Lori Foster called Give it Up.  The stories are connected by three friends who each get their story.  It was just released today! They are fun, sexy reads and my review will be coming up shortly.

I'm also listening to The Mistake, Book 2 in Elle Kennedy's Off Campus series.  This is Logan's story. And all of the potential he shows in The Deal is realized in this book. He's awesome.  The writing is delicious and I'm on an NA winning streak...and that review is also coming!

I just finished up The Royal We which is a piece of pure fan fiction that re-imagines Will and Kate's courtship. I was excited as all get out to read this story because I LOVED the real life fairytale we all got witness when the Prince married his college sweetheart who happened to be a Commoner.  Unfortunately, this didn't quite live up to my hopes. The writing is good and if you don't mind your fairytale with some warts on it, you might love this. My review is up.

My newest reviews are up!
This is a quick list. Click the title to read my review!
Sweetest Scoundrel-  This is the latest installment in Elizabeth Hoyt's Maiden Lane series. It's a quick, poignant and satisfying read. I'll have a bunch of fun stuff related to this book on the 28th, so check back for that! It's available today on Amazon
The Truth About Him  ,This story blew me away. The writing is stunning  It's live on Amazon!
The Deal  This book has made a convert out of me. I have avoided New Adult books like the plague, this one was amazing. Great characters who you can relate to. This is one of my favorites of the year. In fact I voted for it on the Goodreads Book of the Year in the Romance Genre. Check it out here
Night Road  This is not a purely romantic story. It's so much more. It will take you to some really uncomfortable places, but it's worth the journey. Check it out on Amazon.
