This is the first book in The Chaos Series. I would call it a spinoff of the Dream Man Series (mainly #4 Motorcycle Man). The heroine is Tack's daughter Tabby and our Alpha hero is Shy.
To say that these two had a rocky history is an understatement...and it just makes their HEA even more delicious!

Tabby and Shy are two of the youngest subjects I've come across in KA's books. Since I'm not a huge fan of NA/YA, I was a little wary of the story. But, boy was I wrong to be.
These two have experienced more hurt, tragedy, and disappointment in their short lives than most of us ever will. And because of this, they are both mature and wise beyond their years.
They are both misguided youth. Tabby because of her family situation (please read Motorcycle Man if you haven't!!) and Shy because he had to grow up too fast. As young adults, they have both come through the fire and are stronger for it.
It turns out that they need that strength because there are some HUGE obstacles to them being together.
Watching them face those obstacles head on was awesome. They are willing to risk everything to be together and never once does it feel like they are being reckless.
Kristen Ashley writes "loves of a lifetime" like nobody's business - and Shy and Tabby know that the kind of love they share is rare and worth giving everything up for. And when you are reading their story, you will know it too. Their chemistry in the bedroom is ridiculous! Their chemistry outside of it is even better. They are best friends and they have each others back no matter what.
And man, when their happiness is threatened, they don't pull any punches. One of the best verbal smackdowns you've ever read occurs in this book. I don't need to give you any clues, you will know it when you read it. When it was over, I was sweating like I'd been the one who got told off!
This is a great start to what has been a phenomenal series!
